. CERTIFICATION PROCESS 

Please Note

• Candidate required to submit following Applicant Passport size photo , Passport scanned copy , Visa scan (for applicants in UAE) , Emirates ID scan, Proof of Training (No more than 2 months old) , Educational qualification certificates , Evidence of Work Experience.

• If there is any change in certificate scheme require additional assessment, additional verification will be done to ensure the fulfillment of additional requirements.
• Extending the certificate can be done through a new application, this may be an upgrade of the level or adding new scope to the originally granted certificates subject to fulfilling the certification pre-requisite.
• Renewing can be done through attending the examination and certification prior the expiry date following the same process starting from application.
• Reducing the scope may be applicable in certain circumstances and may be done through the normal certification process or as a result of a Mystery Shopper visit.
• Suspending or withdrawing certification may take place as a result of a negative feedback or involvement in an accident that its investigation resulted in a non-compliance with the requirements, or as a result of breaching any parts of the applicant, candidate or certified person agreements..

Communications with team members; 12. Identification of restricted area for the public; 13. Local laws and followed practices including customs and traditions where the certification is taking place along with guest behavior and dealing with people with determination.	1 year

3	3.1	Amusement Technician	24	Diploma in any of the engineering discipline related to the field of work. One year experience in the related field. 50 working/training hours under direct supervision of authorized trainer from the training provider. First aid qualification as per the local requirement where the certification scheme is applied.	1. Rides/devices mechanical and electrical components; 2. Proper control of the ride in different situations; 3. Different types of maintenance on amusement equipment; 4. Different troubleshooting; 5. Identification of spare part specification in accordance with the manufacturer requirements and recommendations; 6. Dealing with hazardous materials (oils, grease …etc.); 7. Electrical hazard and risk control; 8. LOCKOUT TAGOUT procedure; 9. Safety practices in dismantling, assembling and replacement of amusement rides parts/components; 10. Handling emergency situations and re-establishing the normal operation of the attraction; 11. Proper use of PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment’s); 12. Safe working at height; 13. Information on any updates in the maintenance practice as well as manufacturer specific information.	2 years
